Dry-aged meats are the house’s main highlight. Beyond the meats, the restaurant also offers a wide selection of tempting appetisers, fish dishes and desserts, all prepared in our own kitchen.
Sicó cheeses and olive oil are just a few examples of our preference for products from the Pombal region. Our wines are carefully handpicked, and our wine cellar features labels from all regions of Portugal.

History
As gatas
Casa das Gatas is a historic building dating back to the 20th century, located on Rua do Louriçal (Agorreta neighbourhood). At the time, it was run by two sisters who owned a small guesthouse and a modest restaurant, where they prepared homemade dishes. The sisters were known as “the cats” (gatas), which is where the name comes from.
